Extension plinth extends transformerless
UPS
Advance-Galatrek's unique range of ETX Plinths allows a conventional transformerless UPS to match the performance of a larger - and therefore more costly - ferro-resonant UPS
For industrial, manufacturing and mission-critical applications, where heavy electrical pollution, spikes and noise can affect the performance of crucial equipment, Advance-Galatrek has introduced its unique range of ETX Plinths This latest innovation allows a conventional transformerless UPS to match the performance of a larger - and therefore more costly - ferro-resonant UPS

Compact rack-mount UPS ideal for control rooms
Available in capacities to service loads of up to 1kVA, Advance-Galatrek's Elite UPS are ideal for telecoms, call centre, computer suite or control room applications.
Front end power protection even for extremes
Computing, communications, internet service providers and other 24/7 operations can now access flexible, enterprise-wide, power protection with the Elite PowerCentre UPS from Advance-Galatrek.
This makes the ETX range ideal for applications such as industrial and manufacturing sites - locations that benefit from voltage conversion and Galvanic isolation to partner their transformerless Uninterruptible Power System (UPS).
The ETX range of voltage conversion plinths is designed to partner models in the Elite UPS range from Advance-Galatrek, and converts any model in the range from a transformerless design into a full Galvanic isolation UPS.
A special transformer, based on Advance-Galatrek's range of low impedance power conditioners, acts as a harmonic filter to protect the load from electrical noise and transients - especially common mode noise.

The new wall mounted LineUPS provides unobtrusive power protection in computer rooms, telecom switch rooms and for keyphone systems, small PBX switches and micro base station applications
The inclusion of Galvanic isolation between the UPS load and the main supply ensures that the load itself receives an extremely pure, spike and electrically noise free supply, even when on bypass.
This makes the ETX Plinth perfect for installations where the mains supply is subject to impurities, either as a result of equipment that is external to the site, or where engineering and manufacturing processes serve to pollute the on-site mains supply.
Spanning capacities from 700VA upwards, the ETX series offers voltage conversion - ideal for applications such as industrial sites running on 110Vac 50Hz, or US 120Vac 60Hz sites, where voltage conversion is needed for satisfactory equipment conversion.
European sites running hardware originally designed for US use can also be accommodated.
Certain models in the range also feature a manual maintenance bypass, which allows the UPS to be powered down, or even removed, without causing disruption to the load.
Because the bypass is routed through the voltage conversion transformers within the ETX Plinth, this ensures that the load continues to receive the correct supply.
Additionally, by building the bypass into the plinth itself, this avoids the need to place messy and potentially costly wiring between the units.
The ETX Plinth sits beneath the Elite UPS, taking advantage of plug and play connectors for easy installation.
Separate wall mounted maintenance bypasses are also available, featuring both manual and automatic transfer, and providing optional transient protection.
