UPS maintains three-phase supplies
The MasterElite ERT 160kVA is a three-phase-in/three-phase-out UPS for emergency, industrial, comms and data applications that host centralised computer or telecomms facilities.
The MasterElite ERT 160kVA is a three-phase-in/three-phase-out UPS for emergency, industrial, comms and data applications that host centralised computer or telecomms facilities And, for offshore applications, Advance Galatrek's projects team can provide customised MasterElite solutions
Up to six MasterElite 160kVA units can be installed in parallel (960kVA), or as a redundant N+1 configuration.
The UPS features a three-phase output from a three-phase 400V AC input, with auto sensing of the input frequency, and an input voltage range of +/-20%.
Dynamic input and output filters help to protect the load from upstream electrical pollution, and provide protection from spikes and electrical noise while the unit is in static bypass mode.
MasterElite 160kVA can also be used as a frequency changer, for example in installations where the load and supply operate at differing Hertz.
A specially developed Eco-Mode delivers operating efficiencies of up to 98% by allowing the unit to remain on stand-by until mains failure occurs.
In the event of a power failure occurring, MasterElite automatically provides instantaneous power for security applications such as emergency lighting.
Advance Galatrek also offers an optional CleanSource DC flywheel, which acts as a mechanical battery that can be used instead of a traditional SLA or Ni-Cd battery set.
This innovative technology is used to provide a DC supply in the event of a mains failure, to give an ancillary generator time to start up, or to reduce the initial load on an existing battery set.
In practice, the CleanSource DC flywheel represents a cost effective alternative to traditional batteries, thanks to its 20-year design life and minimal maintenance requirements.
With units available up to 600kW capacity, a single flywheel also can power several smaller UPS devices.
The MasterElite ERT 160kVA features advanced double conversion online (VFI) technology with a transformer isolated inverter output.
This rugged and highly efficient circuitry offers the ultimate protection when confronted by undesirable variations such as surges, sags and brownouts in the mains supply.
In these circumstances, the inverter will continue to deliver a constant, stable and clean sinewave power source, derived either from the converted mains supply, the battery pack or the CleanSource DC flywheel.
Microprocessor control gives better reliability and stability, as well as making the UPS one of the most communicative on the market.
An easy to operate top mounted keypad and LCD panel provide full information about the status of the unit, while Advance Galatrek's PowerShield2 management software, supplied as standard, allows easy integration with existing communications networks.
The MasterElite ERT 160kVA is designed with ease of maintenance, simple access and high calibre safety in mind.
It features built-in automatic static and manual maintenance bypasses, with automatic or manual battery testing facilities.
The MasterElite ERT also accepts the addition of extended battery packs or AC diesel and LPG generators, plus the option of Advance Galatrek's leading edge LinkUPS 24/7 remote site monitoring software.
