The latest ISO9001 revision builds on an earlier version of the international quality standard, dating from 1994.
The new revision adds customer care and continual improvement procedures to a range of criteria that already include manufacturing and dispatch processes.
As a result, the latest version of ISO9001 focuses on standards that measure customer satisfaction with the products and services that they receive from the company.
Levels of customer satisfaction are assessed by feedback received from questionnaires sent by Advance Galatrek following dispatch of the products.
According to Morgan, his new role will allow him to build even further on the already strong reputation for quality that is synonymous with the Advance Galatrek name.
"For nearly 60 years, Advance Galatrek has been associated with innovation and excellence in every aspect of power protection.
During that time, our extensive range of products and services has gained a reputation for being the best in the industry.
My appointment as Quality Manager is intended to build on this position, by making the company even more responsive to the needs of its customers", he said.
