Advance Galatrek has a new range of galvanic-isolation single- or three-phase in, single-phase out uninterruptible power systems.

Advance Galatrek has launched its latest range of galvanic-isolation single- or three-phase in, single-phase out uninterruptible power systems.

The MasterElite MultiTec MRMX range can be specified in capacities ranging between 10 and 20kVA, with a maximum of 80kVA available from four units configured in parallel, making it ideal for installations requiring the ultimate in power protection.

At the heart of each unit is a state of the art galvanic isolation transformer, offering a complete physical barrier from the inconsistencies of the mains supply.

This device offers unprecedented reliability and power conditioning capabilities, effectively absorbing and neutralising any spikes and electrical noise present in the electrical supply.

The galvanic isolation transformer built into MasterElite MultiTec MRMX offers a guaranteed sinewave output, even when fed by a polluted mains or square-wave supply.

In the event of a fluctuation or failure in the mains supply, the inverter uses the energy already stored to provide a break-free supply for the load.

Each MasterElite unit can also be installed with a matching battery extension pack, providing several hours of online running time.

As well as ensuring that any connected load receives a filtered, continuous, stable and break-free supply, no matter what the circumstances, MasterElite MultiTec MRMX features four user selectable operating modes.

Operators can instruct the UPS to function in any of online, standby, stabiliser or smart active/economy modes, to achieve operating efficiencies of up to 98%.

In economy mode, the MultiTec circuitry mimics digital line interactive technologies, making MasterElite ideal for less critical or sensitive loads.

In smart active mode, the UPS monitors the stability of the mains power supply, and automatically selects between on-line or line interactive operation.

The standby mode is used to power emergency lighting applications where, in conjunction with MasterElite's cold-start facility, the UPS can power up without being connected to a mains supply.

MasterElite's front-end power factor correction (PFC) circuitry achieves a true sinewave output, while full microprocessor control gives better reliability and stability, as well as making the UPS one of the most communicative on the market.

An easy to operate front panel keypad with liquid crystal display gives full details on unit status, while an RS232 port allows easy integration with existing communications networks, using the PowerShield2 UPS management software supplied as standard.

Each MasterElite model is designed with ease of maintenance, simple access and utmost safety in mind, with automatic or manual battery testing facilities.

All versions allow the addition of extended battery packs or AC diesel and LPG generators, plus the option of Advance Galatrek's innovative LinkUPS 24/7 remote site monitoring software.
