The 19in rack-mount units in the Multi Dialog-R UPS range can be installed individually, in parallel or as an N+1 configuration, to guarantee the ultimate protection for any application requiring the highest standards of power continuity The Multi Dialog-R range offers a choice of single- or three-phase input and a single-phase output, with capacities ranging from 10 to 20kVA, while the three-phase in, three-phase out range spans capacities from 10 up to 30kVA

Four separate units can also be connected in parallel to support loads up to a maximum of 120kVA.

Rack mounting turns each Multi Dialog-R model into a totally scalable UPS solution, with users able to choose different battery capacities, distribution options and even optional galvanic isolation units - all housed in a suitably sized Riello Galatrek PowerRak cabinet.

The Multi Dialog-R range uses advanced digital online VFI technology, while the load is powered continuously by the inverter, ensuring that it receives an EMI filtered, stabilised and regulated sinewave supply.

Each model features dynamic input and output filters to protect the load from upstream electrical pollution.

These state of the art filters even continue to provide spike and electrical noise protection when the unit is in economy mode.

Riello technology enables every Multi Dialog-R UPS to adjust to the characteristics of the mains power supply, as well as altering its operation mode to match the sensitivity of the connected load.

The user can instruct the UPS to operate in one of three modes - online, economy or smart-active - either from the main control panel situated on the front of the unit, or even remotely using the PowerShield2 software supplied with every unit.

The economy mode offers up to 98% operating efficiency, mimicking the characteristics of a digital line interactive UPS, with the load being powered through the dynamic filters.

This allows the inverter to remain active, but not powering the load, until a sudden fluctuation or failure occurs in the mains.

In turn, this reduces overall wear and tear on the UPS assemblies - ideal for installations where the mains is relatively stable, or the load less critical.

In smart-active mode, the UPS monitors the stability of the mains supply, and automatically selects whether to operate in online or line-interactive mode.

As well as being virtually silent in operation, the Multi Dialog-R series incorporates front-end power factor correction (PFC) circuitry, to achieve a true sinewave output.

Full microprocessor control provides each unit with the utmost in reliability and stability, and makes the UPS one of the most communicative in the marketplace.

All Multi Dialog-R models are designed for easy and safe maintenance access.

19in rack-mount maintenance bypasses and dual redundant switches are also available to match each model.

This makes the Multi Dialog-R range ideal for voice and data processing installations where a rack-mounted solution is the only effective way to solve space problems, but where absolute performance cannot be compromised.

Runtimes from several minutes to many hours are available by specifying the appropriate battery extension packs and chargers, or by using local standby generators.
