The Energy Savings Calculator from Riello UPS compares the green credentials of Riello uninterruptible power supplies to competitor systems and the European Code of Conduct for UPS Energy Efficiency.
Riello UPS has developed the online calculator to help customers quickly see the range of savings that can be made by using Power Protection from Riello.

By selecting the size of UPS required, and setting the operating conditions, users can see how Power Protection performs in terms of: difference in power consumption; annual energy savings in kWh; annual cost savings; and pollutant emission reductions in KgCO2.
'Our industry-first Energy Rating System is a useful, guick-glance guide to the efficiency of Riello's UPS products,' said Robin Koffler, general manager for Riello UPS.
'With our online calculator, clients can immediately see how we can help reduce CO2 emissions and save money,' he added.
As an example, the calculator works out that a 100kVA Multi-Plus MLT, running 24hrs a day, 365 days a year, carrying 75 per cent load, would save an installation 9,766.83kWh of energy annually compared to a rival model, according to Riello.
