Selector lists lubricants according to application

A Rocol Lubricants product story

Application-led product selector makes it easier to choose maintenance lubricants.

ROCOL Lubricants has made the selection of maintenance lubricants easier with the development of an application-led product selector for its Frontline range of the most widely specified lubricants.

Frontline is a range of products covering all types of maintenance applications.

It complements the firm's numerous specialist lubricants, such as the Foodlube range for the food, drink and other clean industries, plus high specification lubricants for the military, aerospace and metalworking sectors.

Frontline includes lubricants, oils and greases for power transmission and assembly applications, general maintenance, bearings, drive and conveyor chains, plus cleaners, wire rope dressings and corrosion protective products.

The product selector categorises each product according to its most suitable application.

For example, users can see instantly that there are three products for dry ropes, classified by how they are applied - aerosol, spray gun or by hand - plus two products for static and wet ropes.

The selector also includes details on all available pack sizes.

Steve Chapman, Commercial Director, said: "After conducting a detailed assessment of the needs of both distributors and end-users, and given the success of the range since its 2000 launch, it is clear that the products in the Frontline range continue to cover effectively the vast majority of everyday engineering and manufacturing applications".

"Making the best choice though depends on having the right information to hand and this is where the new product selector comes in".

"Its easy-to-use format is designed to make it simple for customers to identify the most suitable products for their various applications".
