The award for excellence is presented every year to the first year engineering apprentice who has made the most outstanding progress during their training.
This year's winner is Paul Blythe from Hull-based baggage handling systems supplier, Logan Teleflex.
Blythe is one of 4500 apprentices who have benefited through training with HETA over the last 40 years.
HETA trains engineering apprentices in a range of sectors from ports, logistics and petrochemicals to boiler making and food production.
Says Rocol Technical Manager Paul King: "HETA provide the highest quality training for apprentices from many engineering disciplines and we are proud to be associated with them".
"Paul is a very worthy winner of the Rocol Award for Excellence and we wish him every success with his engineering career".
