Food-safety lubricants reduce machine failure

A Rocol Lubricants product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 6, 2008

A Rocolcare service engineer provides practical assistance to Bell Bakers one day a month.

Maintenance support from Rocol Lubricants is helping Bell Bakers maintain a food safe production environment and minimise machine failure at its North Lanarkshire factory.

The Scottish bakery firm brought Rocol in eight years ago to help implement food safe lubrication using the Foodlube product range throughout its production facility.

Now, as well as maintaining a manufacturing environment that is entirely food safe, a Rocolcare service engineer provides practical assistance to Bell Bakers one day a month.

This leaves Chief Engineer Roy Stewart free to get on with his job of keeping production running smoothly.

Stewart says "They've helped us greatly, particularly in terms of minimising the breakdowns we experienced when we were using other products".

"It's vital that our entire manufacturing operation is guaranteed food safe and Rocol has helped us achieve and maintain this high standard of food safety throughout the factory".
