ProcessLogix is a new generation DCS, sharing common communications and controller architectures with the latest ControlLogix PLC's and utilising WindowsNT as the HMI (Human Machine Interface).
The system will be of particular relevance to Rotork's clients in the pharmaceutical and oil and gas industries.
Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Rotork, Martin Walder of Rockwell Automation, said: "We are extremely pleased to have Rotork as a Process Application Provider.
As Rockwell accelerates its penetration of the process market, Rotork's in-house engineering expertise and experience will enable it to maximise the potential of our products.
