Following massive investment in facilities at its UK Headquarters in Milton Keynes, Rockwell Automation says it is now able 'to bring Complete Automation to life'

Now, following massive investment in facilities at its UK Headquarters in Milton Keynes, Rockwell Automation is able to bring Complete Automation to life.

The new facilities consist of: The Solutions Centre, an interactive product display and demonstration area: The Business Solutions Suite demonstrating shop floor to top floor business solutions, in a 'virtual factory' environment: The Customer Service Centre, a focus for customer enquiries, allowing them to be handled quickly and efficiently: Extensive Meeting Facilities.

Announcing the opening of the new facilities, Joe Lupone, UK sales director, says: "Many people talk about integrated solutions.

The Solutions Centre shows the capabilities of Rockwell Automation and its partners in a broad spectrum of industries such as Materials Handling, Water, Food and Beverage, Paper and Packaging.

Web Cam and on-line facilities enhance the Centre to ensure that customer visits can be tailored to the individual needs of customers.

The Business Solutions Suite shows 'Shop Floor to Top Floor' Enterprise Integration in Action.

Visitors can follow the production of a product (stress putty!) through all the stages - from order entry into an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system through production and back up to the boardroom reporting.

The simulation can be personalised to match customers' applications.

The Customer Service Centre is the hub for customer enquiries whether they be via email, phone, or fax.

The Centre covers Technical Support, Software Registrations, Sales Desk, and literature ordering.

Staff have access to a variety of support tools which allow them to simulate customer applications and access on-line global support databases.

With the opening of these three hi-tech facilities, Rockwell Automation is demonstrating the reality of Complete Automation solutions, backed up with levels of customer service and support that are second to none.
