Rockwell Automation has a close working relationship with Sequencia and the two companies have already jointly implemented a number of batch projects in the UK and elsewhere.
The acquisition expands Rockwell Automation's portfolio of Manufacturing Businessware solutions into the batch application arena.
As these products evolve, they will become an integrated part of the RSBizware suite of software products that will form an important element in Rockwell Automation's e-manufacturing solutions.
