Rockwell Automation Ireland has appointed Drives and Controls as a distributor for its market leading range of Allen-Bradley PowerFlex drives.
Rockwell Automation Ireland has appointed Drives and Controls as a distributor for its market leading range of Allen-Bradley PowerFlex drives.
Conveniently located within the Riverview Business Park, Dublin, Drives and Controls has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the drives field.
Drives and Controls is one of Ireland's leading specialist suppliers of industrial motor control and automation products.
It is well known for its high level of customer service and technical support and has now established a comprehensive stockholding of Allen-Bradley PowerFlex drives.
The appointment coincides with the launch of two of Rockwell Automation's most significant drive products to date, the innovative Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 70 and 700.
Commenting on the announcement, Aidan Donnelly, Rockwell Automation Ireland said, "We are delighted to have Drives and Controls as a drives distributor in Ireland.
Its application experience, local industry knowledge and ability to provide standard or configured drive solutions make it an ideal partner to service this developing market".
Donnelly continues, "The ability to take a drive project from concept stage through to final commissioning is quite unique in the Irish market.
The launch of PowerFlex makes this a particularly exciting time for the Allen-Bradley drives business and we look forward to working with Drives and Controls to expand the sales of this innovative new range".
Developed using ground breaking technology, the PowerFlex 70 will initially cover the range from 0.37 to 15kW and the PowerFlex 700 up to 30kW.
They are smaller, more efficient, reliable and versatile, and provide more application configurable features than competitive products.
Combined with aggressive pricing and worldwide availability and support, they will be attractive to OEMs and end users throughout Ireland's manufacturing industry.
