Rockwell Automation has expanded its family of Allen-Bradley signalling products with the introduction of a new range of IP65, low-cost, 50mm diameter stack lights.

The new 855E range provides a wide range of industries with a cost-effective alternative to standard 70mm units.

Of a compact design, they are ideal for applications where larger units would have been considered impractical because of their size or cost.

Rated at IP65, the stack lights provide a high degree of protection against wet and dusty environments, and are ideal for use in the automotive, pulp and paper, food and packaging industries.

Suitable for operation at 12 and 24V AC or DC, and 120 or 240V AC, they are UL, cUL and CE approved for global use.

The modular construction of the new units makes them quick and easy to assemble.

No tools are required and the top mounted terminal block makes wiring quick and easy.

Once installed, lens-securing screws lock the modules together preventing tampering.

The Allen-Bradley 855E range of light and sound modules can be stacked up to five modules high to provide a large number of combinations.

There are six lens colours including red, amber, green, blue, yellow and clear.

Illumination options are incandescent lamps or long-life LEDs, which can be either steady or flashing.

There is also a strobe alternative.

High output sound modules give 103dB at 1m with DIP-switches allowing the volume to be easily adjusted.

There is a choice of single or dual sound modules with continuous or pulsing tones.

Bases are available in black or grey and there are three mounting options to allow the units to be surface mounted where minimal height is required, pole mounted for increased visibility, or side mounted for vertical equipment surfaces and walls.

Allen-Bradley stack lights provide bright, reliable and easy to install signalling solutions that keep production processes running and enhance operator safety.

They are used throughout manufacturing industry to provide production and maintenance engineers with information on a machine or system.

The new Allen-Bradley 855E 50mm range provides a high degree of flexibility within a stylish and compact design, whilst offering a lower cost of ownership for OEMs and users.
