The Rockwell Automation Integrated Software Environment (RAISE) is a family of powerful, easy-to-use applications to assist engineers in the design of control systems.

RAISE is a free software package that provides a range of tools for product selection, data management, engineering and documentation functions.

These include Abecad, MCS Star, Product Library, Proposal Builder, Rail Builder, RFQ Builder and User Defined Devices.

Anyone involved in the design of control panels will find RAISE easy to use.

It saves time by finding catalogue numbers, generating detailed requests for quote (RFQ) and producing CAD layouts.

Abecad is a library of AutoCAD drawings of Allen-Bradley products that also functions as a product and drawing selection utility.

Once loaded onto the CAD station's hard drive, Abecad runs behind AutoCAD, giving instant access to 3D and 2D drawings of over 11,000 Allen-Bradley products from pushbuttons to PLCs.

The library can be quickly searched either by part number or by text description, enabling all users, irrespective of their level of familiarity with the Allen-Bradley range, to quickly find the correct product drawing.

For users that do not have access to AutoCAD, the drawings can also be downloaded in DXF format.

MCS Star 4 configuration software provides a user-friendly graphical interface to design electrical control systems using Allen-Bradley's Modular Control System (MCS).

The software allows the user to configure Allen-Bradley MCS Starters using the new 141A MCS Mounting System.

RFQ Builder is a comprehensive request-for-quote tool.

It includes product selection assistance for most Allen-Bradley products, bill of material generation, and supplements (including configuration data, dimensions, one-line diagrams and specification information) for many products.

The new 'User Defined Devices' application will allow users to create their own libraries of products that can be used from within RFQ Builder, Abecad and Abecad Clipboard.

RAISE software is Windows based and is an essential tool for users, designers, panel builders and OEMs.
