Display gets the message across loud and
clear
The Allen-Bradley InView P9000 message display is a large LED matrix board able to display characters nearly 250mm high that can be easily read at distances of 140m.
The Allen-Bradley InView P9000 message display is a large LED matrix board able to display characters nearly 250mm high that can be easily read at distances of 140m Even manufacturers with the largest plants can now get vital information across to operators and maintenance technicians over a wider area, improving speed of response to messages and so helping to reduce downtime and lost production

Available in 24 or 48 character per line display lengths, the versatile InView P9000 offers a range of display options from five lines of 38mm text to a single line of 244mm text in three colours.
This flexibility enables manufacturers to clearly display a wide range of data including alarms, production variables and plant status in the most appropriate format for the target audience.
The InView P9000 can connect to a wide range of industrial networks, including DeviceNet, ControlNet, EtherNet/IP, Remote I/O, DH485 and Ethernet TCP/IP, so it is easy to integrate into both new and existing control systems.

Radical new approach to motion control?
While traditional motion control systems typically have their own proprietary text based programming languages, ControlLogix uses standard 'ladder logic' programming.
The InView P9000 supports two communication networks simultaneously, allowing programmers to reconfigure the unit while it continues to display alarms and other information.
The P9000 can also accept and prioritise information from multiple sources, enabling alarms and other critical data to take precedence over routine plant status or productivity information.
Configured using easy-to-use Windows 2000 InView messaging software, the InView P9000 is able to store up to 4000 preprogrammed messages which can be triggered by a PLC, PanelView HMI or Scada system.
Support for Microsoft ActiveX controls also means messages can be downloaded and process variables updated from any ActiveX-compatible software such as Rockwell Software's RSView32 or a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
In addition, operators can use the PC-based messaging software to quickly create and download their own messages for instant display.
Ideal for virtually any large manufacturing, assembly or warehousing environment, including the automotive, food and beverage and process industries, the rugged InView P9000 is available with an IP65-rated enclosure for washdown areas.
The P9000 joins the growing Allen-Bradley InView family, which offers a full range of LED message displays from 300mm panel mount units to 1.8m large-scale factory floor displays.
All units can be configured using the same InView messaging software, so messages can be shared and reused by displays of any size.
Part of Rockwell Automation's ViewAnyWare visualisation strategy, InView message displays ensure the right information is delivered in the right place at the right time, improving plant efficiency and productivity.
