Data acquisition for Rockwell Software's RSBizWare
The Historian module extends the reporting, analysis and management capabilities of the RSBizWare foundation by providing a powerful set of tools to analyse a wide variety of time-series data.
RSBizWare Batch integrates all facets of batch automation and process management, providing the most comprehensive batch management software available.
It provides efficient, predictable, and consistent batch processing, along with the generation of event information during batch runs.
A major strength and primary benefit to the end user is that it supports the reuse of code, recipes, phases and logic between processes with similar procedures.

Alarm Notification for Human Machine Interface
RSView32 Messenger can alert plant engineers and maintenance personnel, who may be located out of the immediate area, to system alarms so users can take appropriate action immediately.
Radical new approach to motion control?
While traditional motion control systems typically have their own proprietary text based programming languages, ControlLogix uses standard 'ladder logic' programming.
In addition, by combining the ISA S88 standard with proven technology, the software will provide the flexibility customers need to bring products to market faster.
The RSBizWare Batch modules also support configurable electronic signatures for both automatic and manual operations.
Electronic signatures now include multiple levels of signoff capability, including review, approval, responsibility and authorship.
Signatures can also include comments by all signers, security requirements for signers and date and time stamps for all activities.
Command verification allows the process engineer to fully control access to operations and ensures that operators are prompted for signatures when commands are executed.
The Batch View and a new ActiveX control now list all pending signature requests associated with the currently running procedures.
If a procedure reaches a terminal state, it remains on the batch list until all the signature requests have been satisfied.
Further enhancing users' interactions, the system includes a set of standard reports which can be used "as is", or modified to generate tailor-made reports specific to individual needs.
Batch event history reports show the event history information for single or multiple batches.
Material genealogy reports show recipe, lot, sub-lots, and smallest identifiable amount of material used in the production of a batch or specific piece of equipment.
Operation actions report includes operator actions, such as: process action signoff, operator prompt responses, the time in eProcedure instructions, batch actions and batch alarms.
Batch analysis reports present information including the batch duration times for a procedure, unit procedures, operations and phases within a single batch.
And finally, parameter deviation reports show parameter deviations for a single batch or multiple batches.
