A new direct drive rotary positioning stage from Anorad Europe can handle loads up to 50kg at speeds up to 90rev/min.

A new direct drive rotary positioning stage from Anorad Europe can handle loads up to 50kg at speeds up to 90rev/min.

This economical high-performance rotary stage features 18,000 lines per revolution encoder, which is available with digital or analogue outputs.

The analogue encoder can be used with the company's multipliers to output resolutions from 0.36arc-sec.

Typically, with gear-driven rotary stages, maximum speed is limited to 30rev/min or less.

The Anorad RDR stage has a maximum speed is up to 90rev/min and still maintains high positioning resolution, repeatability and accuracy.

Other features include high-precision four-point contact bearings and integral optical home and limit switches.
