A thin yet powerful new linear motor from Anorad, a Rockwell Automation company, features an epoxy core to produce high performance with ultra smooth motion and zero cogging.

The LEU Series is a brushless motor with an overall width of just 18mm yet it develops 18kg (39 Ibs) of peak force making it the smallest motor of its power available.

The LEU motors come in two coil heights, the LEU-15 (15 mm) and the LEU-30 (30 mm).

The LEU Series has six coil sizes of 35 mm, 65 mm and 95mm long for the LEU-15 and LEU-30 models.

The motors also come in four magnet channels in lengths of 60 mm, 90 mm, 150 mm and 300 mm.

Linear servomotors, because of their simple two-part design and the inherently non-contacting nature of their operation, are becoming the maintenance free drive mechanism in preference over traditional ball screws and belt drives.

With its extensive range of linear motors, Anorad provides a direct drive solution for the vast majority of motion applications.
