Roller bearings can be preloaded
The important benefit of the new, patented ZRB HOLO-ROLT bearing over its solid roller alternative is that it can be pre-loaded more effectively.
The important benefit of the new, patented ZRB HOLO-ROLT bearing over its solid roller alternative is that it can be pre-loaded more effectively This ability permits higher running speeds, high radial stiffness, very low radial runout and effective vibration dampening

Programmable screwdriving at lower cost
The new programmable Werner screwdriver from RA Rodriguez adds considerable value to an already proven multi-axis system.
These qualities are also enhanced by the ring's rotating inner ring which positively drives the pre-loaded rollers preventing them from skidding or twisting.
Available in several types and a wide range of sizes, the HOLO-ROL bearing is marketed in the UK by sole agent, R.
A.
Rodriguez.
As its name suggests, HOLO-ROL uses hollow cylindrical rollers instead of solid rollers.
The resultant operating advantages make HOLO-ROL the ideal choice for machine tool applications.
These bearings are now widely used throughout the world in all types of machine tool spindles, especially those on turning, milling and grinding machines.
However, their high accuracy also extends the potential use of the bearings for medium load applications such as satellite tracking systems.
HOLO-ROL can be specified as single-row bearings which are directly interchangeable with 'extra-light' and 'light' series ball bearings; H100 and H200 are respectively ideal for high speed and medium to high speed machine tool spindles.
For very high speed applications, the HC-100 and HC-200 caged roller bearings are recommended.
The addition of a thrust flange on the outer ring allows the HT-100 and HT-200 bearings to carry locating axial thrust loads.
This thrust feature is also available in the caged HTC-100 and HTC-200 models.
Completing the series are the HH3000 with a straight cylindrical bore and HH3000K with a 1:12 tapered bore.
Both are dimensionally interchangeable with SKF and FAG NN3000 bearings and designed for applications requiring high accuracy and radial rigidity.
As all types of HOLO-ROL are manufactured to order, special sizes can be made for specific requirements.
