At just 2.5mm wide, the new Kaydon low-profile large-bore Ultra-Slim bearings are suited to even the most restricted design envelopes.

They are ideal for applications in robotics, inspection equipment, satellites and cameras where precise positioning and lightweight designs are critical.

Available in the UK from sole factory representative, RA Rodriguez, Ultra-Slim bearings are supplied in bore sizes ranging from 35 to 170mm.

For corrosion resistance they are made from stainless steel and may be specified for angular, radial or four-point contact.

Another option is a hybrid version with ceramic balls.
