At Southern Manufacturing next month, RA Rodriguez will feature products from three of its five principal divisions - linear products, bearing products and gears.
At Southern Manufacturing next month, RA Rodriguez will feature products from three of its five principal divisions - linear products, bearing products and gears.
Linear motion modules from the RA Rodriguez Werner range are designed to be freely combined, enabling the user to create dedicated, multi-axis handling systems.
They offer high load capacity, high rigidity, quiet operation and are complemented by a choice of motors, plug-in positioning systems and controllers.
Visitors to Southern Manufacturing will be the first to receive a new product overview that details the wealth of options available within this product programme.
Examples from the company's own range of linear components will also be shown.
These include linear guideways, ball bushings, bearings housings, shaft supports and shaft blocks.
The latest additions to the range are ballscrews and acme screws, ideal for a wide range of needs from slow transporting and clamping operations through to those requiring precision and dynamic positioning.
Speedy Rail from TMT is another featured product.
This is an extruded aluminium alloy beam that is surface hardened and given a patented finishing treatment.
This provides a smooth, hard surface comparable to tempered steel.
A key attribute of this product is that its nonstick surface layer offers excellent resistance to weld splatter.
For many UK companies, a Kaydon bearing is the generic name for any thin-section bearing.
RA Rodriguez has represented this manufacturer's UK sales interests for many decades and its experience in this technology sector is considerable.
Naturally a range of examples will be shown at Southern Manufacturing but the expanded range of Metri Reali-Slim bearings will be highlighted.
These have bore sizes ranging from 20 to 360mm diameter in three different cross-sectional sizes of 8, 13 and 20mm square.
A newly produced CAD CD-ROM will be freely available at the show.

RA Rodriguez is KHK's sole UK distributor and will be showing a selection gear types including spur, helical, racks, mitre and worm gears.
Recent additions are the sintered metal spur gears.
These allow RA Rodriguez to offer small sizes previously only available in plastic, complementing its injection-moulded range; both can be mixed and match to provide higher torque requirements.
