IEF's palletising systems available from Rodriguez

A RA Rodriguez product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 27, 2009

IEF Werner component palletising systems are now available in the UK from Rodriguez.

These handling systems are designed to provide the orderly and gentle transfer of the work pieces to and from modern assembly lines, often integrating end-of-line processes, such as part marking and testing.

Four basic, fully programmable models complete the range, which can all be tailored to suit the precise needs of the application.

This can range from simple three-axis pick and place to multi-axis handling and complete turnkey solutions.

All are fundamentally designed to fill or unfill a tray with small components.

The tray is then indexed down the stack and a new tray is presented.

Pallet weights range from 5kg to 30kg.

A small footprint of less than 1m2 and the ability to load from the front or side are features of the Variostack pallet system.

The slimline PSM is designed for easy integration into assembly lines and Scara robot systems and the PSO accommodates customised pallets and allows stacks to be loaded and unloaded at any time during operation.

The most widely specified in Europe is the PSU, which is designed for applications requiring carriage or belt pallet loading.

Most applications require bespoke tray designs and gripper technology, but IEF Werner palletisers are also available with a range of standard accessories to optimise the handling process.

These include gripper rotation, multiple grippers, reversing units and alignment systems.

Typically, the palletisers are used for handling medical, electronic and automotive components.
