The materials are manufactured in a wide variety of formulations to provide enhanced flame retardance in various gasketting, sealing and cushioning applications within a railcar.

Bisco silicones meet the most stringent industry standards worldwide for flame, smoke and toxicity resistance.

Both open- and closed-cell offerings withstand temperatures from -55 to +204C.

Bisco silicone's soft and firm products possess unsurpassed compression-set resistance and maintain physical properties throughout the service life of the vehicle.

They are available in roll form with or without adhesives, and are easily fabricated into various shapes.
