Renold will be exhibiting its interchangeable range of gearboxes and fluid couplings for quarrying applications at the Hillhead exhibition in Buxton, Derbyshire.

The exhibition runs from the 26th to 28th June 2007,and Renold will be found in the Pavilion on Stand P104.

The company is using the show to promote its SMXtra enhanced range of shaft mounted helical gear reducers.

The range is now available in 12 sizes, with four ratios.

Hollow bore sizes up to 190mm enable the units to be fitted in a wide range of quarrying applications.

The units are available with a standard parallel sleeve arrangement and with a single bush taper locking system which can be fitted from either side of the unit, allowing the units to be fitted and removed in the quickest possible time.

The most popular size units are now stocked at their Milnrow factory, and also at strategic locations in the UK through the Brammer, network enabling instant availability.

Also being shown for the first time is the new range of Hydrastart soft start fluid couplings, which have been redesigned to be interchangeable with competitors' products and are available on short lead times from there Cardiff factory.

To complement the new Interchangeable range is a new mid-range series of metric worm gear units.

These are available in the four popular metric sizes (100-200mm) with ratios from 5:1 to 70:1.

These units have been designed to be "drop in" replacements for Radicon mid-range units from David Brown, and are also available from stock from Reynold's service partner Brammer.
