Mach 2006 to see range of vices designed for the rapidly developing five-axis market.

At Mach 2006, Roemheld will be introducing a range of vices for the developing five-axis market.

The MC range of vices enable free access to the workpiece for complete machining on all sides, in a single set up.

The vices include a range of special jaws, with a range of standard jaws and soft jaws, which enable the user to machine the jaws for any requirement.

There are also grip and V jaws to enhance the retention force on the workpiece.

Five-axis designs include standard mechanical, standard hydraulic, concentric, zero point changing systems and other clamping systems.

Clamping forces reach 40kN with the SCS 120 range and 35kN on the MC 125 range.

Vices come in a choice of jaw widths of 60, 100, 120 and 125mm, with base lengths to suit the requirements of five-axis tables.
