Work-holding solutions at Engineering 2003
Visitors to Engineering 2003 will be able to see working demonstrations on how Romheld's innovative products can increase productivity, particularly in the automotive and aerospace industries.
This addition to the Stark Zero Point range is operated by pneumatics and is for oil free applications.
Stark provides accurate and repeatable change-over of fixtures as well as reducing set up times.
On the stand, there will be working models of the Matrix system, a flexible, low-level entry to hydraulic workholding for small to medium manufacturers, and the Hilma MC vice system, to support the increasing demand for five-axis machining.
A fixture used by BMW and Volvo, showing the Stark Zero Point system with nipples mounted directly into the cylinder head, will also be on display.
Visitors to the Roemheld stand 4916 will see the Hilma M-Tecs magnetic clamping systems in action.
For processing thermoplastics, duroplastics and rubber, M-Tecs magnetic clamping systems attracted interest when they were launched at Interplas 2005.
An attraction is also sure to be the inclusion of the latest Triumph Rocket engine casing and cylinder head fixtures on stand 4405.
Visitors to stand 4405 can test the speed of Stark Zero Point mounting and have the chance to win a prize by entering a time trial.
The winner of the trial will be the person that changes over a selection of vices, chucks and fixture plates within the shortest time.
There will be prizes to be won each day.
As usual, a number of OEMs will be displaying Roemheld products, including Hilma vices and Stark Zero Point mounting, on their stands.
These include Cincinnati, Mazak, Hurco, Mills, 600 Centre, Yauasa Warwick Machine Tools, Whitehouse Machine Tools and Agie Charmilles. Request free introductory details about products from Roemheld UK ...
