Romax, which also works alongside renowned international clients such as Harley Davidson, John Deere and Hyosung, decided to work towards this accreditation following a three-year growth period, which has seen the company increase its turnover by around 30% year on year.
It decided that the accreditation would be the perfect way to accelerate this growth, by investing substantially in its processes and procedures to optimise efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.
"By focusing intensely on our customers' quality expectations, we will be able to improve the customer experience and better help them to achieve their business objectives", explains Romax's Operations and Software Manager, Andy Poon, who managed the IS 9001:2000 accreditation process along with Senior Project Manager, Kris Robinson.
"This accreditation has shown us that quality is wholly the perception of the customer and that they have a considerable role to play in the process of continuous improvement".
In 2006 alone, in addition to achieving this accreditation, the company has launched new offices in both Germany and India and developed the latest version of its market leading engineering design software, RomaxDesigner R12.3 - a package that is revolutionising engineering design.
