Routeco has moved into product assembly with the introduction of a range of stainless-steel switch disconnects that are perfect for the food and other related industries.

Available in standard form in both three-pole from 25 to 100A and six-pole from 25 to 63A, they are protected to IP65, with fingerproof switch bodies to IP20.

The cover is interlocked when the switch is "on" and each enclosure measures 160 x 160 x 145mm.

Up to four NO and four NC contacts, a combination of auxiliary contacts, earth and neutral terminals or a fourth pole can be added on request.

Larger sizes up to 315A are also available in either stainless steel or plastic housings.

The switches themselves are robust, reliable and comply with IEC204 and IEC947.

All provide a high current switching capacity within compact dimensions and are suited to demanding industrial applications as machinery isolators.

The new switch disconnects are the first in a range of products to come out of Routeco's new assembly unit in Milton Keynes.

Introduced initially as a result of customer demand, they are sure to be extremely popular.

They are available for ordering from any of Routeco's 21 regional locations.
