Rowe Hankins Components is introducing a new illuminated toggle version of Eaton Heinemann's popular AMR series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker.

A new illuminated toggle version of Eaton Heinemann's popular AMR series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker is being released by electrical distributor Rowe Hankins Components Designated the ACR, the new breaker gives a clear indication of the power status

Colour and switch markings can be varied to reflect the safety regulations or custom of the destination country.

Heinemann hydraulic-magnetic breakers are described as the first choice for reliable, temperature-independent operation in demanding electrical applications such as fire, security, safety and emergency lighting.

The breakers provide precise protection without the danger of nuisance tripping, thereby guaranteeing maximum availability for safety and emergency equipment.

Breakers can carry one hundred per cent of their rated current, even at elevated temperatures.

Models are available that comply with a range of time-delay trip curves to meet the precise needs of different electrical conditions and environments.

Hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers are available in the AMR series with ratings up to 100A and interruption current ratings up to 50kA to eliminate the need for branch fusing.

ACR breakers are already approved by Underwriters Laboratories under UL1077 and 489 and IEC approval is in progress.

UK distributor Rowe Hankins Components is happy to provide technical service and advice on product selection to meet electrical protection requirements for differing applications and environments.

Technical information is also available through the company's website.
