Rapra Technology's successful "Blowing agents and foaming processes" conference is set to be the best ever this year.

The venue is Munich, Germany, and the dates are from Monday 19th May to Tuesday 20th May 2003.

"Current bookings are high", says Paul Whittaker of Rapra Technology.

"It's a specialist field and practitioners in foamed plastics and rubber clearly look forward to getting together under Rapra auspices to discuss the blowing agent technology and commerce of the day".

The conference will feature reports on new injection moulding processes, structural foam, microcellular and extrusion processes.

It will also incorporate material on equipment development, such as the extruder/foamed substrate interface.

Universities and Institutes such as IKV Aachen, University Laval, Canada, Cracow University and others.

Materials companies presenting include Bayer, Solvay, Atofina, and Borealis.

Other companies speaking include SMS, Battenfeld, Demag, Honeywell, Expancel, Sealed Air, Trexel, and Lambiotte.

An early bird discount of Eur 950 per delegate over the two days (Eur 850 for three or more delegates) applies until 25th April 2003.
