Rapra is organising three rubber-related conferences during the second half of 2006 and is calling for papers to be submitted for consideration.

Silicone Elastomers 2006 will be held on 19th and 20th September in Frankfurt.

This is a conference on materials, properties, processing and applications, and the deadline for papers is 19th March 2006.

Thermoplastic Elastomers 2006 is scheduled for 8th and 9th November in Munich.

This, conference will cover the many different types of TPE, processing and applications, and the deadline is 8th May 2006.

Rubber Chemicals 2006 will be held on 5th and 6th December in Munich.

Rubber formulation has always been difficult - even more so with EU Directives affecting chemical selection for European markets.

Rapra is keen to hear about new chemistry in development, and the deadline is 6th June 2006.

"Get your research the recognition that it's due", says Dr Sally Humphreys, Business Manager, Rapra Technology.

"After all, it takes a lot of time and effort to come up with new ideas for materials".

"Don't let the competition get there before you, just a send in a short summary of your work to Rapra".

"If your paper is accepted, you will see your product being advertised worldwide", adds Humphreys.
