Rapra Technology is holding a one day briefing on environmental law and the sustainable use of plastics on 4th April 2006 at its HQ in Shropshire, UK Over recent years a plethora of environmental legislation has been imposed on manufacturing industry

EuP, IPP, RoHS and WEEE, are just some of those that directly impact on the manufacturing sectors that produce or use plastics materials in their products, resulting in companies being forced to rethink their materials sourcing, design and manufacturing practices.

Although some legislation will impact significantly only on particular sectors, the movement towards an environmentally conscious society will continue to drive it, crossing all areas of the supply chain and end-use sectors.

Rapra Technology is producing an event which will offer a forum to facilitate knowledge transfer across the many industry sectors affected and will provide an insight into the pragmatic strategies that innovative companies are using to address and comply with these issues.
