This event is organised by Rapra Technology at the Marriott Hotel in Munich, Germany, over two days, 8th and 9th November 2006.

The use of TPVs in automotive sealing applications features strongly.

There is also a method for estimating crosslink density in TPVs, and a novel TPV made from silicone rubber and ethylene-octene copolymer.

Crosslinked HSBC materials with improved heat resistance and mechanical properties will be presented, with an additive to improve melt flow and strength of TPEs, and a styrene isobutylene block copolymer.

TPU presentations focus on high performance aesthetics and expanded products.

The effects of siliceous and talc additives on processing and product properties will be described, as will an advanced laser welding technique for TPEs.
