Among an extensive range of materials and product testing and consultancy services, independent polymer consultant Smithers Rapra has a proven track record in providing a rapid and flexible fluid susceptibility testing service to the aerospace and defence markets.
The company can perform fluid contamination tests, using various chamber sizes, on aircraft components and products by spraying, immersing or brushing fluids commonly used in airborne and ground operations at regular intervals over a wide temperature range.
Tests may be carried out to a number of aerospace standards including: EUROCAE, RTCA/DO-160, DEF STAN 00-35 Part 3 Test CN4, BS3G 100:Part 2 and MIL-STD-810.
In addition, the company can develop test schedules to customer specific parameters.
