Smithers Rapra seminar to discuss Reach regulation

Smithers Rapra has announced a two-day industry briefing seminar entitled 'Rubber within Reach', which will take place on 27-28 October 2009 at the Marriott Atlanta Downtown hotel in Atlanta, GA.
The seminar is being organised in association with ACS Rubber Division and will be presented by Dr Steffen Erler, technical director at Smithers Reach Services.
Erler will address the concerns of rubber raw material suppliers, compounders, manufacturers and their end-user customers in relation to the scope of the European Union regulation as it affects chemicals used in rubber manufacture.
He will also discuss the obligations upon companies wishing to use these chemicals in their products.
