Early Booking Incentive for automation training

Advance booking of places on Rockwell Automation's extensive range of training courses are now rewarded with a reduced price under a new Early Booking Incentive (EBI) scheme announced by the company.
Early booking of courses enables Rockwell Automation to plan its scheduled courses better, and so utilise its staff and resources more efficiently.
Now these savings will be passed on to customers in the form of an EBI price reduction.
Andy Horn, Business Manager for Rockwell Automation's Training Services, said: "We surveyed our customers to find out what mattered most to them when looking at their training needs.
Not surprisingly, obtaining value for money from a high quality training provider was high on their list." The survey found that, while there would always be unexpected, short term demands, most customers have a good idea of their automation training needs well in advance.
Until now, however, there has been no incentive to book until the last minute, even when courses have been selected from Rockwell Automation's twice yearly training schedule months ahead.
Under the new EBI system, the earlier a course is booked, the greater the saving.
A one day course typically costing £215 for example, would be reduced by £30 if booked 16 working days in advance, and by £55 if booked 26 working days ahead.
The scheme covers courses run by Rockwell Automation at its own training centres in Milton Keynes and Sutton Coldfield, and those run by its Training Partners in Teeside, Glasgow and Plymouth.
Rockwell Automation provides a wide range of training courses covering topics such as power and energy management, open communications networks, drives, PLCs, HMIs, software, motion control and maintenance.
In addition to the training programme offered at Rockwell Automation's two fully equipped centres and Training Partner facilities around the UK, customers can request customised training courses that are designed to meet their specific requirements and run at their own sites.
