The world's most advanced alarm annunciator
RTK Engineering is launching what is claimed to be the world's most advanced integral logic alarm annunciator.
Low frequencies are also available to conform to British safety standards, making them suitable for fire alarm systems and other annunciator applications.
The sounders are Atex certified to Ex II 1G, EEx ia IIC T4 and are suitable for zones zero, one and two and for all gas groups.
An IP65 enclosure enables the sounder to cope with the harsh environmental conditions found offshore and well as those on the onshore oil, gas and chemical industries.
When used in hazardous areas, the sounder must be powered through suitable intrinsically safe isolators or barriers.
RTK makes a full range of suitable interfaces such as the S951 or S931.
The DB5 intrinsically safe multitone sounder is suitable for use in areas of high ambient noise.
For extreme noise levels, it can be linked with the DA135 intrinsically safe beacon to combine audible and visual warnings.
