A RTP Company product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 14, 2006

RTP Company will feature several cutting-edge technologies and product expansions at PDM 2006.

Visitors to PDM 2006 will find thermoplastic solutions from RTP Company on Stand E36.

RTP Company will feature several cutting-edge technologies and product expansions at this UK event from 26th to 28th September 2006 at the Telford International Centre, Telford.

"RTP Company has invested a tremendous amount of technology this past year in developing several innovative products for our customers", said Steve Maki, Vice President of Technology at RTP Company.

"One such development is a new line of PermaStat Plus products with improved electrical performance designed to meet the ATEX (94/9/EC) Directive for companies having equipment that will be operating in potentially explosive environments".

PermaStat Plus is the latest edition to RTP Company's complete portfolio of conductive solutions.

Other conductive technologies include PermaStat permanent static dissipative compounds, inherently conductive polymer compounds, nanotube compounds, carbon based compounds, and highly conductive compounds.

RTP Company's long-fibre compound (LFC) capabilities have also expanded significantly with increased capacity, addition of key personnel, and broader product offerings.

"RTP Company has shown its renewed focus by steering more resources toward LFCs", said Maki.

"These additional resources will work to increase product and process development, as well as improve on scale-up of new technologies".

Other advancements that will be featured at PDM 2006 include improved thermoplastic elastomers that offer enhanced overmould bondability to a variety of rigid substrates, as well as an expanded range of UniColor universal masterbatches.
