Liquid silicone rubber (LSR) custom injection moulded parts and assemblies provide elasticity in a wide temperature range making this process suitable for automotive, appliance and OEM designers.
Offered by Rubber Industries, clear and custom colour LSR parts and moulded assemblies are available in small and large quantities.
LSR has a fast cure and cycle time, making it suitable for custom seals, insulators, diffusers, valves, gaskets, bellows and similar components for under the hood and appliance designs.
The material has low compression set and resists damaging effects of sunlight and ozone for extended wear life on indoor and outdoor applications.
Over-mould bonding of the material to metal and plastics components is a service offered by the firm.
Handles, grips, sleeves, caps and similar components can be ergonomically designed in harmonising colours and bonded to other metal and plastics parts.
Virtually any configuration in unlimited quantities can be injection moulded using the company's array of automated presses in a full range of tonnage sizes.
Included in its one-stop LSR injection moulding capabilities, Rubber Industries provides complete mould design and manufacture, complete in-house cryogenic deflashing capabilities, component assembly and packaging.
The mould design system uses a series of modular mould components whereby customers need purchase only the part's mould cavity, not the entire mould assembly.
