The Panasonic CF-72 is a rugged P4/1.8GHz portable computer for an amazing introductory price of GBP 1695.00.
This tough and stylish notebook PC with Intel Pentium 4 1.8GHz SpeedStep processor, 256Mbyte SDRAM, 30Gbyte HDD and 13.3in TFT colour display is designed to deal with being dropped, bumped and subjected to spills and other abuse.
The durable construction and robust features of the CF-72 mean that valuable data are protected no matter where it goes.
The stylish new design features super-tough shock resistant magnesium alloy - 20 times stronger than plastic commonly used in notebook computers - on both the LCD cabinet and inner chassis, providing outstanding protection for the expensive LCD screen and other sensitive parts.
A new vibration-resistant material to isolate and protect the hard disk drive from vibration and impact combined with a flexible cable connection developed by Panasonic allow the CF-72 to withstand the shock of a drop from 30cm.
The water-resistant keyboard and touchpad help prevent water or other liquid from seeping into the casing and effecting the internal components, the pressure sensitive touchpad allows users to operate even with wet hands The optional integrated GPRS wide range wireless module lets users download data from a server, browse the Internet and send e-mail, all without leaving the work site.
Users can get the information they need quickly and easily without having to connect to a cellular phone.
The 10/100Mbit/s LAN, optional wireless LAN module that enables the CF-72 to automatically sense when it can connect to the network, makes it easy to share data with other PCs, print a file or connect to a server from anywhere in the office.
The standard 56Kbit/s wired modem completes the unrivalled array of communications possibilities on the CF-72.
