The Short Rack P IV 2.8GHz model G2 joins the 7586 range of industrial computers designed for reliable operation in tough environments and process critical applications.

This is a 4U unit with only 421mm depth, up to 4Gbyte DDR SDRAM on four DIMM sockets, and options of removable hard disk drive, internal UPS, fan and temperature monitoring.

The G2 also has six PCI slots and 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet.

The model G2 is designed for 24/7 reliable round-the-clock operation and is suited to those applications where space is a premium.
