Belflex bellows couplings combine stainless-steel bellows and aluminium hubs to offer superior performance for motion control applications.

Belflex couplings combine high torque capabilities and high torsional rigidity in a zero-backlash, low-inertia flexible coupling.

The bellows allows the coupling to bend easily under loads caused by the three types of misalignment (angular, parallel, and axial motion).

Because they have uniform, thin walls, the bellows provides low bearing loads that remain constant at all points of rotation, without the damaging cyclical high and low loading points found in some other types of couplings.

The couplings are available from stock in a choice of six outside diameters from 15 to 50mm in both set screw style and Nomar clamp style.

A large variety of inch and metric bore sizes from 3 to 25mm is available, allowing the end user to mix and match to select the combination of bores required for the application.

Belflex bellows couplings feature a balanced design, which makes them ideal in applications with high rotational speeds.

Applications include encoders, where the high accuracy of these couplings ensures optimal performance, and servomotors, where the torque capabilities as well as the accuracy of these couplings are required.
