Pressure transmitter senses abrasive fluids
The Sensit P6420 pressure transmitter is a special purpose sensor developed specifically for measurement of the pressure in concrete slurry delivery lines, and for other abrasive fluids.
Catalogue covers varied instruments

Sensor monitors 1-200bar pressures
The Sensit Economic Industrial Transmitter incorporates an ASIC circuit to ensure accuracy and temperature compensation across all environmental conditions.
This new feature enables reduced stock-holding and improved interchangeability of units between applications, as the 5:1 range turndown capability allows the P6420 to be reconfigured by the user in the store or on site, to suit each specific application.
The Sensit P6420 rerangeable transmitter is available with full scale ranges of 10 to 100m Water Gauge, and is supplied fitted with a polyurethane waterproof cable to IP68.
The cable also incorporates a strain relief wire, to support the sensor weight, and an air breather tube to allow atmospheric pressure reference to the Sensit ceramic pressure sensing element.
The transmitter packaging is typically stainless steel, but alternative materials are available for sea water or corrosive media.
A removable cover on the top of the transmitter body provides access to DIP switches for coarse turndown adjustment, and potentiometers for fine adjustment of full scale value.
The active face of the sensor carries a 0.25in BSP connection under the nose cone, used for a pressure connection during such calibration.
All units have full lightning protection, for use in outdoor locations; transmitters are also available with ATEX intrinsically safe approval for hazardous area use.
The Sensit P6420 transmitter, is manufactured in the UK by Roxspur, and is used by water supply companies and their subcontractors for level measurement applications.
All materials used are compatible with the WRc requirements and have been approved by the Environment Agency (EA) for use in reservoirs and potable water.
