Strain gauge sensor range expanded

A Roxspur Measurement and Control product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 22, 2007

Available with custom interconnections and signal conditioning electronics, the P150 provides an OEM sensor option suitable for many medium to high volume applications.

Roxspur Measurement and Control has added three new pressure sensor products added to its Sensit range of thick film and ceramic strain gauge sensors and transmitters.

The Sensit P150 development has once again reduced the overall size of the measurement capsule, which is now only 15mm in diameter.

This smaller size allows the pressure capsule to be designed into further special applications and compact housings for these capsules.

Available with custom interconnections and signal conditioning electronics, the P150 provides an OEM sensor option suitable for many medium to high volume applications.

One of the first standard applications for the new Sensit P150 small diameter capsule is their latest borehole submersible transmitter, for use in water resource monitoring and groundwater measurement applications.

The Sensit Trident Mini is a 17.5mm diameter probe, suitable for level/depth measurement of water in 25.4mm boreholes.

Offered with stainless steel or titanium body materials, this 4-20mA two-wire transmitter is supplied with a cable moulded to the sensor body and sealed to IP69.

Roxspur also introduced the Sensit Economic Industrial Transmitter line of totally stainless steel absolute and gauge measurement transmitters, targeted at industrial and commercial applications where cost, size and performance are critical.

Typically used in mobile hydraulic and automotive applications, and with the rugged design and EMC immunity to match, the Sensit EIT range is available with an integral cable harness, a Packard, an M12 Micro connector, or a connector to DIN 43650.
