Saft's new "Primary Lithium Battery Selector Guide" has been produced to help electrical and electronic product designers select the most appropriate primary lithium power source for any application.

The "Selector Guide" contains information on Saft's new and improved lithium cells.

The useful, concise full-colour guide tabulates the physical and electrical characteristics of Saft's five ranges of liquid- and solid-cathode lithium cells and two ranges of ready-assembled military-specification batteries.

Guidance is given on cell selection, product approvals are detailed, and cell tab arrangements are illustrated to help battery pack designers.

Saft primary lithium cells and batteries are extensively used in applications where high energy density, long service life and high reliability are essential, such as memory back-up, alarms, identification and security systems, radiocommunication, emergency and utility metering equipment and medical devices.
