The Open HMI series comprises a powerful range of panel PCs with standard hardware interfaces and a standard operating system.

New from R Stahl HMI Systems, the Open HMI series comprises a powerful range of panel PCs with standard hardware interfaces and a standard operating system.

These panel PCs enable users to run standard Windows applications.

Depending on their requirements, users can select their visualisation software of choice from a range of major suppliers.

These new systems are based on the hardware of Stahl's Eagle series of operator interfaces, but have a larger memory and more powerful processors, enabling them to support operating systems such as Windows XP embedded and associated software applications.

Open HMI operator interfaces can be installed in hazardous areas of Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 and are suitable for ambient temperatures up to +50C.

Three different versions are available: the ET-406 with a 10in touch screen and keyboard, the ET-416 with a 10in touchscreen and function keys and the ET-336 with a 15in touch screen.

All models are based on Celeron/Pentium M processors with clock rates up to 1.1GHz.
