The BD series of dual displacement radial piston hydraulic motors satisfy demands for high-speed performance combined with low-speed controllability, down to "creep" speed, and exceptionally high starting torque efficiency.

These features are especially desirable for applications such as winch drives as well as for both on- and off-highway transmissions.

Displacement combinations are available ranging from 25 to 500cm3/rev.

This newly released product line is the result of some 10 years of continuous development and testing in the company's own R and D division, as well as lengthy field trials in the most arduous of conditions.

This extension to the SAI product portfolio uses a tried and tested crankshaft bearing arrangement which, as well as resulting in improved efficiency, also enables what would normally be regarded as a slow speed motor, to run at speeds exceeding 3000rev/min in certain sizes.

Other features currently under development and which will shortly become available include electrohydraulically controlled shifting as well an infinitely variable unit.
