Radial piston hydraulic motor has compact outline

A SAI (GB) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 24, 2005

The SF Series radial piston hydraulic motor is ideally suited to small mobile equipment, general industrial machinery, plastics and marine markets.

Over some 40-plus years of manufacturing, the Italian based company SAI has successfully built up a solid reputation for ground-breaking design, high performance products and excellent reliability.

The SF Series radial piston hydraulic motor is the latest example of how continuous development pays off, and yet again SAI reckons it is leading the way.

The seven-piston arrangement provides exceptionally smooth torque output, with minimal vibration even at high speed, and its compact design allows the motor to be installed into areas where previously radial motors could not be considered due to their physical size.

A radial piston motor hardly larger than a gerotor motor, yet one which provides high efficiency performance across its entire speed range from stall to 2000rev/min.

Available with a wide range of interface options, including ISO and SAE standard mountings, with displacements of 40, 55, 70 or 85cm3/rev, the SF motor is ideally suited to the small mobile equipment, general industrial machinery, plastics and marine markets - in fact anywhere repeatable controllable speed, high efficiency, compact size, high power, low noise and long life are important.

Extremely reliable, the SF delivers exceptional power and efficiency with an overall performance previously unheard of from such a compact unit.
