Floor-standing enclosures in the popular and versatile 6000 series from Sarel, a brand of Schneider Electric, can now be delivered within 24 hours of Sarel receiving an order.

This new fast-delivery service, which is offered without extra charge, means that users of floor-standing enclosures no longer have to carry stocks of these bulky items to be sure of having the enclosure they need, when they need it.

The 24-hour delivery service is available on all 50 standard sizes of Sarel 6000-series sheet-steel enclosures with a RAL7032 textured epoxy polyester finish, and also for popular accessories, including plinths, glazed doors, 19" rack facilities, busbar supports, perforated chassis plates, lifting eyes and interior lights.

Designed to provide convenient and cost-effective enclosure solutions for virtually all electrical and electronic applications, 6000-series enclosures are available in five heights from 1,200 to 2,200 mm, five widths from 400 to 1,200 mm, and four depths from 400 to 800 mm.

All models incorporate strong triangular-section frames, to which the user fits doors and panels as required.

This method of construction allows single-door, double-door and suited enclosures to be assembled quickly and easily from a minimum number of basic components.

Doors are secured by a four-point sealing rod mechanism which is supplied complete with locking handles.

A wide choice of lock types is offered and, if required, the locks can be fitted with a padlock facility for improved security.
